**Location:** Austin, Texas **Duration:** August 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 (up to 344 hours) **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; may require work outside normal business hours on weekends, evenings, and holidays **Interview Mode:** By phone or Microsoft Teams **Overview** A Texas state agency is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Upgrade Specialist with expertise in infrastructure and environment management to support simultaneous ERP implementation and upgrade projects. The primary responsibility is to upgrade PeopleSoft FSCM on Linux and Oracle platforms, and to build, configure, and maintain multiple environments in close coordination with the database administrator. This is a remote position; if it should become hybrid, the in-office schedule will be negotiated. The position requires working outside standard business hours depending on project activities. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and implement applications for computer systems - Direct the development process from conception to completion - Oversee the efforts of all associated technical staff - Upgrade PeopleSoft FSCM on Linux and Oracle platforms - Build, configure, and maintain multiple environments in close coordination with the database administrator - Support simultaneous ERP implementation and upgrade projects **Required Qualifications** - 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 PUM upgrades - 8+ years of experience with middleware setup and management (Weblogic, Tuxedo) - 8+ years of experience troubleshooting in PeopleTools 8.6x environments - 8+ years of experience with advanced scripting (Linux, SQL) - 8+ years of experience with search framework (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch), with at least 4 years required **Preferred Qualifications** - 4+ years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government) - 2+ years of experience working with a hosting vendor - 2+ years of experience working with Phire - 2+ years of experience working with Tivoli scheduler **Work Location & Requirements** - Position is fully remote; candidates located within the United States will be accepted - Primary work location is Austin, Texas; subject to change per the hiring team - May be required to work remotely up to 100 percent of the time - May be required to work outside normal business hours on weekends, evenings, and holidays as requested - All travel, per diem, parking, and living expenses are at the candidate's and/or vendor's expense - Must sign an Acceptable Use Agreement as a condition of employment - Must sign and return required integrity and cybersecurity training acknowledgement forms before a purchase order is issued - Subject to criminal background check as authorized by Texas law
