Project Manager - Onsite — Detroit, MI

### Position Overview We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager** to manage multiple infrastructure services projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes ownership of assigned projects, drives execution, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures successful delivery of enterprise infrastructure initiatives. This role requires strong project management experience in network infrastructure, WAN connectivity, Cisco environments, network modernization, cutover planning, and secure connectivity projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, tracking, communication, vendor coordination, risk management, and reporting across the project lifecycle. ### Key Responsibilities * Manage multiple infrastructure services projects from initiation through completion. * Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, project plans, and status reports. * Work with supervisors and stakeholders to determine project resource needs and coordinate resource allocation. * Monitor project progress, workload, risks, issues, action items, dependencies, and key milestones. * Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items. * Manage RFP-related activities, including vendor selection support, evaluation matrices, and coordination of vendor product reviews. * Write and support contract Scope of Deliverables documentation. * Support creation, update, and adherence to IT processes, standards, and project governance practices. * Coordinate end-user communications, IT notifications, broadcast messages, and stakeholder updates. * Monitor and report on project KPIs, project health, risks, issues, and delivery status. * Partner with technical teams, vendors, carriers, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery. ### Mandatory Skills and Experience * **Enterprise Network Implementation Management:** Experience leading end-to-end network deployments, infrastructure readiness, and deployment planning. * **WAN Connectivity and Carrier Circuit Coordination:** Experience with WAN planning, circuit delivery tracking, telecom provider coordination, and circuit readiness. * **Cisco Network Infrastructure Modernization:** Experience supporting Cisco switching environments, secure connectivity, routing/switching coordination, and network refresh initiatives. * **Network Cutover and Migration Planning:** Ability to manage enterprise cutover planning, traffic transitions, stabilization, and business-critical migration activities. * **Network Security and Access Infrastructure Projects:** Experience managing secure connectivity, DDoS mitigation, malware defense, and enterprise authentication/access reliability. ### Required Qualifications * 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT infrastructure or enterprise network environments. * Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects involving network infrastructure, vendors, telecom providers, and internal IT teams. * Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder communication. * Experience supporting RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and contract deliverables. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities and implement effective solutions. * Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Passion for delivering a strong customer experience. ### Tools and Environment * Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Teams * Clarity PPM * Azure DevOps ### Preferred Attributes * Strong leadership and facilitation skills. * Ability to coordinate across technical, business, vendor, and leadership teams. * Experience working in government, public sector, or large enterprise IT environments. * Detail-oriented approach to project documentation, reporting, and follow-through. * Comfortable managing both technical project details and executive-level communications.
