### ob Summary
Oakland County is seeking experienced **SaaS Platform Administrators** with strong hands-on Salesforce administration experience. This role will support the daily administration, configuration, maintenance, security, integration, and performance of the County’s Salesforce environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing Salesforce users, permissions, configuration, automation, reporting, data quality, and integrations. This position requires strong analytical, technical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Experience working with county, local government, or public-sector environments is highly desirable but not required.
### Key Responsibilities
* Administer and support the County’s Salesforce environment.
* Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.
* Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflows.
* Build and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics.
* Develop and support Salesforce Flows and other automation tools.
* Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
* Troubleshoot platform issues and provide advanced user support.
* Work closely with business users, technical teams, and department stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
* Maintain system documentation, configuration notes, process flows, and support procedures.
* Assist with data management, data quality, imports, exports, and cleanup activities.
* Provide user guidance, training, and best-practice support.
* Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security.
* Support ongoing enhancements, releases, and project deliverables.
### Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration.
* Experience managing users, roles, permissions, profiles, and security settings.
* Experience building reports, dashboards, workflows, and Salesforce Flows.
* Experience with Salesforce data management, imports, exports, and data quality processes.
* Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with external systems.
* Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and integration methods.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
* Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
* Ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.
* Ability to support multiple departments and business needs in an enterprise environment.
### Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in county, local government, or public-sector environments.
* Salesforce Administrator certification.
* Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
* Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
* Salesforce Cloud Consultant certification.
* Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms beyond Salesforce.
* Experience with compliance, security, and governance in a public-sector technology environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce administrator who can support day-to-day platform operations while also helping departments improve workflows, reporting, automation, and user adoption. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, documenting requirements, troubleshooting issues, and delivering practical Salesforce enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
