Senior Data Integration Engineer (Informatica / Snowflake / ETL)

**Location:** Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / Local Candidates Only) **Duration:** Contract through August 2027 (Potential Extensions Available) **Hours:** Up to 2,008 Hours | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST **Interview Mode:** In-Person **Work Authorization:** U.S.-based candidates only ## About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced **Senior Data Integration Engineer** to support the design, development, automation, and optimization of a large-scale enterprise data integration environment. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in **Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, Snowflake SQL, ETL automation, data warehousing, and systems analysis** within complex enterprise environments. The selected candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of a high-impact **data integration and analytics platform**, supporting enterprise reporting, performance management, and business intelligence initiatives. This position requires strong collaboration with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. ## Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain **ETL workflows and data integration pipelines** using **Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS** * Acquire, integrate, and transform data from multiple enterprise data sources including **Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF-based data** * Develop and optimize **complex Snowflake SQL scripts** for high-performance data transformation and analytics * Build and maintain dimensional data models, database views, and materialized views * Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams to design scalable and efficient data solutions * Develop automation for data acquisition, transformation, validation, and quality assurance * Perform **verification and validation** of ETL workflows, SQL scripts, and database structures * Participate in **Agile sprint ceremonies**, backlog refinement, and technical planning sessions * Translate business and reporting requirements into technical solutions and data models * Create technical documentation, diagrams, specifications, and implementation artifacts * Develop mockups and collaborate with stakeholders to validate business requirements * Assist with troubleshooting, system enhancements, and ongoing operational support * Support testing activities including **integration, load, and stress testing** * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements ## Required Qualifications * **8+ years** of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using **Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IICS** * **8+ years** of experience integrating and transforming data from multiple enterprise data sources for analytics or reporting environments * **8+ years** of experience writing and optimizing **complex Snowflake SQL scripts** * **8+ years** of experience working as a **Systems Analyst or Data Engineer** supporting data analytics, reporting, performance management, or data warehouse initiatives * Strong experience designing efficient, scalable, and testable technical solutions using software development best practices * Experience producing technical documentation, data mappings, process diagrams, and specifications * Proficiency with tools such as **Visio, Erwin, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project** * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills * Experience delivering enterprise software solutions across multiple business units ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in an **Agile/Scrum environment** * Experience handling **PII/PHI or sensitive healthcare data** * Prior experience in the **Healthcare Industry or public-sector environments** * Experience with **Python scripting** * Experience with **JIRA** * Familiarity with **REST/SOAP Web Services** * Experience with **Java and JavaScript development** * Experience building **CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions** * Experience with **MuleSoft integrations** * Exposure to **AI-enabled data engineering tools** such as **Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire** * Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)** ## Work Location & Schedule * **Hybrid Schedule:** 3 days onsite (**Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday**) and 2 days remote * Primary work location: **Austin, TX** * **Candidates must already reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area (within 50 miles)** * Candidates relocating to Texas or currently residing out of state will not be considered * Schedule: **Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST** * Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on project needs ## Additional Information * Background check may be required prior to onboarding * Contract extensions may be available based on project needs and performance * Travel, parking, and living expenses are the responsibility of the contractor/vendor
